Task is tedious

In the Indian context, a lot of people still wash their clothes by hand, especially undergarments. Users include the geriatric population, hoteliers, bachelors and families. The problems faced by these people were recognised.

Traditional

Advantages

-Faster method to wash clothes.

-Not a lot of energy is wasted.

Disadvantages

-Product occupies a lot of bathroom space and thus is not useful for Indian bathrooms.

-Absence of introduction of such products in India.

Features

Tapering funnel-like structure
A small hole in the centre drains all the soapy water into the bucket without causing a mess on the bathroom floor.
The product fits over almost all buckets of diameter 30cm and more.
Studs at the bottom to prevent the tray to move on the bucket while washing clothes.
Tactile surface to provide grip while washing.
The outer ring of the tray helps in holding the tray over the bucket -Easy to store and use thus making it useful for Indian bathrooms.
The posture used while using this product will be sitting on the bathroom stool.
This makes the product ergonomic as the RULA and REBA scores are 3 and 4 respectively.
Easy cleaning of the bathroom tray so that hygiene is maintained when the user changes.
